General Officer Assignments

Brig. Gen. Mitchell R. Chitwood, U.S. Army Reserve, to commanding general, Troop Program Unit, U.S. Army Reserve Legal Command, Gaithersburg, Maryland. He most recently served as director, Rule of Law Field Force-Afghanistan, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, Afghanistan.

 

Brig. Gen. Karen H. Gibson, deputy commanding general, Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber, U.S. Army Cyber Command, Fort Gordon, Georgia, to director of intelligence, Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, Operation Inherent Resolve, Kuwait.

 

Brig. Gen. Richard G. Kaiser to commander, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan, Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, Afghanistan. He most recently served as commanding general, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Cincinnati, Ohio.
