General Officer Assignments

The chief of staff, Air Force announced the following assignments:

Brig. Gen. Kathleen A. Cook, director, public affairs, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia, to director, services, Deputy Chief Of Staff, Manpower, Personnel and Services, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.

Col. Sean M. Farrell, who has been selected to the grade of brigadier general, from commander, 1st Special Operations Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida, to director, strategic plans, programs and requirements, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Col. Timothy D. Haugh, who has been selected to the grade of brigadier general, from commander, 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, to deputy commander, Joint Task Force ARES, U.S. Cyber Command, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

Col. William G. Holt II, who has been selected to the grade of brigadier general, from commander, 352d Special Operations Wing, Air Force Special Operations Command, RAF Mildenhall, England, to director of operations, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Maj. Gen. Mark D. Kelly, commander, 9th Air Force, Air Combat Command, Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, to special assistant to the commander, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.

Brig. Gen. Lenny J. Richoux, director, services, Deputy Chief Of Staff, Manpower, Personnel, and Services, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia, to vice commander, 18th Air Force, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Brig. Gen. Edward W. Thomas Jr., commander, Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education, Air University, Air Education and Training Command, Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, Alabama, to director, public affairs, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
